Architecture

Our architectural team has a range of experience and skills from designing quality new homes and commercial developments to small alterations and additions. We work one on one and specialise in designing New Zealand homes for New Zealand conditions, incorporating healthy design principles. We can assist with site selection, writing a brief, and preliminary costings if required. We can produce a building concept which we work through together with our client and which is ultimately developed into detailed working drawings for construction.

Interior Design

Space interiors provides a complete interior design service for residential projects as well as commercial and retail fit-outs, or small projects such as kitchens and bathrooms. We can help achieve that special look or ambience which sets our projects apart from others. We assist in writing a brief, and will then work together through the design of spaces, finishes, fittings, and furniture. We can often secure competitive prices for the supply of materials and arrange fabrication.

Landscape Design

Our landscape designer can assist in achieving a quality external environment consistent with the Space design principles. This incorporates both planning and planting and if required supply as well. Whether it’s a separate landscaping project or in conjunction with any of our other services we can help.

Project Administration and Observation

Space can assist in your project administration and observation in conjunction with any or all of the services above. We can obtain building and resource consents, competitive project tenders from our pool of independent contractors or work with yours. We can write a building contract, administer payments and monitor progress. We are independent and aim to be fair to all parties ensuring each project is a team effort for all involved to be proud of.

Graphic Presentation

Space can provide graphic presentations of any architectural project. We have specialised computer software to produce three dimensional renderings and animations as well as an artist to create freehand artist impressions. These services are often used as visual aids for selling purposes or resource consent applications.

Tailored Service

Space can assist in any project where quality is paramount. We pride ourselves on our quality of design and documentation as well as meeting our brief on budget. We can provide a broad range of services for a one-stop shop to achieve a consistent Space style for any entire project, or can provide specific services tailored to clients needs as required.
